Acquisition of the Singlspieler Haus in Munich – the company’s first major prime real estate investment.

1972

Acquisition of the Mannesmann steelworks in Düsseldorf as a strategic expansion of the industrial portfolio.

1974

Opening of the first regional office in Düsseldorf to strengthen the company’s local presence.

Entry into the U.S. market through the acquisition of an office building in New York.

1979

Opening of the Hamburg office and launch of operations in Northern Germany.

1980

Acquisition and start of the conversion of the Heyne Fabrik into office lofts and showrooms.

1981

Opening of the Frankfurt office to expand into the Rhine-Main region.

1981

Acquisition of the Pinneberg distribution and production center for food supply in the Hamburg region.

1982

Entry into California through the acquisition of a strip mall – the company’s first West Coast project.

Acquisition of the Langnese ice cream factory in Hamburg as a production and service site.

Opening of the Dortmund office to better serve the Ruhr region.

1993

Acquisition of the historic Leistbräu brewery properties on Sendlinger Straße in Munich.

1998

The Heyne Fabrik receives the Wüstenrot Foundation Design Award, the Heritage Preservation Award, and the Deutsche Bank Bauspar AG Prize.

1999

Acquisition of the first neighborhood shopping center (NVZ) in a prime central location in Hamburg.

2003

Relocation of the company headquarters to its own building at Sendlinger Straße 47 in Munich.

2006

The portfolio exceeds 500,000 m² of lettable area and continues to grow strongly.

2010

Acquisition of the office property on Arnulfstraße in Munich with over 14,000 m² of space.

2014

Acquisition of the Vermont Avenue property in Washington DC, U.S.A.

2019

Acquisition of a prime office property on Penn Avenue in Washington, D.C., directly opposite the World Bank and the IMF.

2021

Opening of the Washington, D.C. office to support expansion along the U.S. East Coast.

2023

Redesign and vertical expansion of the company headquarters to four floors.

Acquisition of a residential portfolio comprising over 400 period apartments in prime Munich locations.
